Jacinta Richmond - Founder & Director In 2008, there was just me. In 2010, I have the support of the most amazing team. I am grateful to have this team working tirelessly alongside me, to bring the Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival to you. We share the vision and the long term goal to build a sustainable industry on the Sunshine Coast. Each and every one bring experience, committment, passion and professionalism to their positions. It is both a privilege and a pleasure to be working with and to be surrounded by them. The SCFF offers volunteer positions and internships each year, encouraging members of the community to gain experience in their chosen career fields or the opportunity to discover which area of the industry is the best fit for them.
Amanda Rootsey - Environmental Impact Consultant Amanda is the cofounder of label Vegan Era, a model, and recognized expert in the field of living with compassion for our earth. Amanda brings with her extensive knowledge of the carbon footprint the fashion industry leaves on our planet. Amanda joined the SCFF in 2010
Amelia Armistead - Casting Director & Choreographer Amelia has walked the catwalk in Milan, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, and has graced the pages of fashion magazines such as SHE, Marie Claire, Cleo and more. Continuing to model extensively, Amelia is at the forefront of fashion weeks and Amelia joined the SCFF in 2010.
Belinda Bussell - Social Media & Gift Bag Co-ordinator Belinda is responsible for Facebook and Twitter, keeping everyone updated on the latest breaking SCFF news. In addition to this role, Belinda also co-ordinates a team in sourcing quality product and vouchers for the Group Show gift bags, ensuring that each year is better than the last. Belinda joined the SCFF in 2010.
Chelsea Wallis - Business Development Assistant At just 15 years of age, Chelsea is in her first year of a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Corporate & Public Affairs at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Chelsea joined the SCFF in 2010 and has been busy working on grant submissions and business planning.
Chloe Miller - Gift Bags Chloe is part of the team sourcing product and vouchers for the Gift Bags given to attendees of the Group Show. Chloe joined the team in 2010.
Jess Williams - Editor e-news Jess joined the SCFF in 2009 beginning with the role of Gift Bag co-ordinator for Winter 2009. In Summer 2009, she moved into the role of Designer Liaison and in 2010, as a budding journalist, is responsible for writing many of our press releases and brings you the SCFF e-news.
Karlie O'Grady - Public Relations Karlie joined the SCFF in Summer 2009 in the role of Assistant to Festival Director. In 2010 Karlie holds a PR role, has been working alongside the Director in corporate relations and is responsible for VIP liaison.
Kitten Styler - Assistant Stylist With experience in the fashion industry with her former label KittyNoir, Kitten joins the SCFF in 2010 as assistant to head stylist Zoe Champion.
Leah Emery - Event Co-ordinator As part of her industry experience while studying Event Management at Sunshine Coast TAFE, Leah was discovered working amazing feats backstage. SCFF Summer 2009 saw Leah in the role of Backstage Co-ordinator. In 2010, Leah brings the Group Show together, co-ordinating a core team, TAFE students, and a large team of backstage and front of house volunteers.
Molly Blain - Gift Bags Our youngest team member at 14 years of age, Molly is part of the team sourcing product and vouchers for the Gift Bags given to attendee's of the Group Show. Molly joined the team in 2010.
Sophia Ward - Assistant Event Co-ordinator Sophia is currently studying a Double Major in Event Management and Sport & Recreational Management at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Sophia assists Event Co-ordinator Leah Emery and joined the SCFF in 2010.
Zoe Champion - Head Stylist Having worked with industry greats such as Stella McCartney, Charlotte Tilbury and Harper's Bazaar, Zoe returns home to the Sunshine Coast after ten years in Brisbane, London, Paris and Spain. Bringing a desire to build a Sunshine Coast fashion heart, Zoe joins the SCFF in 2010.
